We can see the operating temperature of the products in the operating instructions of many digital devices, most of which are -10 ℃ to 40 ℃. It is easy to understand the high temperature limit. The energy storage lithium battery manufacturers will emit heat when charging and working, and there are potential safety hazards in high temperature environment. 1. Mobile power supply facing low temperature test

Considering the different batteries used in the mobile power supply, we also set up two kinds of common lithium-ion cell mobile power supply for data sampling, including 18650 cell and soft package lithium-ion cell (commonly known as "polymer cell").

2. Battery endurance in normal temperature environment

In order to make a reference for later comparison, we first test the discharge performance of the mobile power supply at room temperature, which is the data of the control group. The ambient temperature of the discharge in the control group is 30 ℃.

It should be noted that what we are comparing here is the performance of the same cell at different temperatures. There is no unified standard for the mobile power supply of different cells tested. Therefore, there is no comparability between the two types of cells. We will also present their performance separately.

3. Discharge curve of soft pack lithium ion cell at room temperature

It can be seen that the soft pack lithium-ion battery has stable discharge at room temperature of 30 ℃. The overall voltage is maintained at about 4.95v, and the reference output energy is 35.1 watt hours.

4. Discharge curve of 18650 cell at room temperature

The discharge fluctuation of 18650 cell is very small in room temperature, and the overall voltage is higher than 4.9v. The reference output energy is 29.6wh.

5. Mobile power supply for discharging at room temperature

It can be seen that both have good performance in normal temperature environment. Stable discharge in normal temperature environment can also provide good endurance guarantee. Of course, this is also the design and use standard of mobile power supply and battery. Then the next step is to test the discharge performance of battery in low temperature environment.
